Question about getting a D in high school

<p>I got a D in honors algebra 2 first semester of my sophomore year. I am taking Algebra 2 summer school for first semester right now, and was wondering if that would be okay if I am applying to UC's. The only question I have is that the course I am taking in summer school is regular Algebra 2, so would the UC admissions see that as retaking the class?</p>
