question about getting rescinded

i agree with njaznpremed…when i visited the campus for the nursing admitted student preview weekend, my host said that all u really have to do is PASS ur classes. sooo, im not promoting that u, or ANYONE for that matter, do this but u could theoretically pass wit D’s and not get rescinded. shrugs shoulders

Curious to hear opinions on this.

My grades are pretty bad this quarter, but we run on a semester schedule and I pulled all As in the first quarter of the semester. My average would not be that bad because of my performance in the third quarter but our school also reports quarter grades on our transcript.

So my transcript might look something like this, worst case:
3rd Quarter: AAAA
4th Quarter: FBCA
Class Average: CABA

I’m having a lot of trouble in computer science (the F). I was out a lot in April and our class covered GUI. I never learned it and all subsequent programs were based on it, so I can’t really complete them.

That F puts you in deep ****. Is there anything you can do to pull it up to a C?

Yeah I should be able to. Thats the way it’s looking right now…if I can pull off learning GUI it’ll be totally different. It’s really just getting the programs done; my teacher won’t give me a late penalty.

I don’t want to mess with that low of a grade, to be honest…

I am getting pretty much straight B’s. B/c of my slacking I will not get any awards at graduation. lol but i could care less b/c from what I’ve read B’s are fine. yay for me.

I’m working my ass off for strait A’s for even 2nd semester senior year and I don’t even get an award for it. I don’t see the point of going strong and then letting it all go last moment.

^^Good for you. That’s pretty rare in seniors from what I’ve seen. Hopefully I can keep up my work ethic senior year as well.

it depends, if your previous record was straight A’s, and you end senior year with straight C’s, then that’s really bad and possibly grounds for rescinding. If you’re a student athlete and your grades were like B’s to begin with, and now senior year you got C’s, it probably won’t make a difference.
