Question about McCormick EA series

Hi all,
Does the EA curriculum effectively cover all/most of the topics in linear algebra (Math 234) and diff eq (Math 240)? It seems like a petty question, but I plan on double majoring, so if this frees up 2 classes that would be a big +1 for NW in my college decisions.

Also, can anyone comment on EA as a whole? Do you feel it really separates McCormick engineering from comparable programs?

Thanks!

234 is not linear algebra… 240 is. and diff eq is something else, i don’t remember what. you should take EA, because it is required unless you do MENU or get permission, but it will waive other classes, such as math240, phys135-1, and math250 (i’m not sure about the last one). you could always due the honors pathway so its done in three quarters.
