Is a 4.5 weighted and a 3.97 unweighted GPA at the end of my junior year good enough for Wharton?

Why wouldn't it be?

depends on how your school weights (if your weighted rank within your class is good or bad, etc)

Does UPenn count the points you get added to your grade for taking honors and AP classes?

with some sense i think you'll come to realize that
1) you can't get into a college solely based on GPA
2) it depends what classes you're taking. The whole getting a B in AP BC Calc is better than an A in Geometry obviously holds true. (Although it'd be nice to get an A in calc, too)
3) there is a whole range of GPAs. you know you're in the upper range. I had a 3.91 unweighted at the end of jr yr. if you told us you had a GPA of 3.0 that would be rather iffy BUT there's still a chance. people get in from all GPA levels. your chances are increased with a good GPA. Wharton doesn't have a certain cutoff or anything...
4) i think rank is kind of important. our school doesn't, but if you're 25/100 even w/ that GPA then perhaps you should work on it (that'd be crazy)

anyway that's my two cents.
and what do you mean points added to your grade for taking honors/aps? like.. being weighted...?

yea, also does UPenn just calculate your academic classes, and also do they count freshman year of high school?

dunno about the just academic

and yes, definitely count it.
