Daughter received info regarding renewing fin. aid (FAFSA, tax returns, etc. by April 15).

My question is this: she has substantial merit aid. As long as she keeps her grades up and files the above-mentioned forms by April 15, is she all set, or is there a separate process to renew merit aid?

She's pretty good at taking care of business, but this is one I want to make sure she 'gets right', as we cannot afford the school (which she adores) w/o continuing the merit aid.

I asked that last year when d was awarded her scholarship. Hers said that it was renewable for 4 years, and that as long as she met the criteria (which was simply "satisfactory progress"), it would be renewed automatically.

But that's a great question! I think I'll call admissions tomorrow and ask!

My ds#1 is a junior and a recipient of a merit scholarship. We did not have to file additional paperwork for the scholarship renewal beyond the usual for fin. aid (i.e., fafsa, tax returns, etc.). From the last mailing on the subject from UR, it is still the case.

Chevda, if you find out otherwise, please let us know. Thanks.

Thanks, BandW. I also called the FA office to find out if we still needed to file the Business Supplement for a 2 person law office. Receptionist wasn't sure. I e-mailed them as well and haven't received a response. Anyone know?
