Question about something "extra" to put on application, and where to put it if so.

I was contemplating whether or not to put this on my application, however if it will give me a slight edge i will put it on. I wrote an essay and was selected to be on a certain very presitgou talk show, I declined the offer for my own very very personal reasons which I regret now. The reason I was asked to be on this talk show actually has to do with my whole academic profile and my college essay, so do you think I should put that down, or would it just sound like im gloating because I dont want to come off that way? I also wouldnt want them to think im lieing but I can provide proof if they really needed it, however it does sound very out of ordinary and far fetched so I can see them not believing it, esp considering the host that asked me.

Most applications have a space for extra information. You can also include it if there’s a place to list achievement/accomplishments or something (“Offered interview with [talk show here] for [reason for interview here]”). It’s interesting and possibly impressive, so might as well throw it in somewhere.

Oh okay thanks!
