Question about submitting transcript, SATs

I am applying to both UCLA and UC Berkeley

I send my transcripts and self report my SATs to both UCLA and Berkeley and not just one of the schools, right? I was thinking that since they are both UC schools, they might share information. Thanks!

I'm not entirely sure, but I remember calling last year and they said not to send transcripts until the final one in June. Everything is on the honor system, so basically it is up to you to be entirely correct, which is a scary thing.

adia0-
here is this from the uc app website:

"You may self-report your SAT and/or ACT results in the application, and you also are required to submit official test scores. Please order score reports from the testing agency no later than December 2008 for fall 2009 admission. "

You're not supposed to send in your transcript. They get more than 50,000 applications, so it's a waste of time to see all the transcripts. Just be aware that if you lie they'll find out eventually. But I doubt they'll kick you out for a small, likely unintentional mistake. Just have an unofficial transcript in front of you when you fill in the info.

they won't look at the transcript if you send it in.

you guys are joking right? NO transcripts? ha!

no transcripts doesn't mean no grades-

it just means you self-report them on the website, and if there are discrepancies between what you've reported and your end-of-the-year transcript you send in june, they will not be happy with you.

what about counselor and teacher recommendations...do they want applicants to mail those in?

When I applied last year, there were no recommendations.

there are never recommendations for the UCs. ever. lol.

there are on recommendations are any of that nonsense for UC's. cmon u guys know this!
