question about tuition

if im currently an international student (been in Switzerland for the last 3 years) but am a u.s citizen (lived in u.s previously before that), what would my cost be for public colleges?

if i previously lived in texas before moving to switzerland, would i still be eligible for in state tuition?

Unless you or your parents are physically living in texas, you will not be eligible for in-state tuition

There may be exceptional rules for children of members of the military, but if you aren’t, then nevermind.

Probably not…unless one of your parents resides in Texas now.

But read the eligibility criteria for instate tuition at Texas public universities for sure.

Since you currently reside NOT in any U.S. state, it’s very likely that you will be considered an out of state resident for financial aid, and admissions purposes.

In the following thread from August, you state your residency is Texas…so which is it…

Also, did you already apply to and get accepted to college? If so, you should know your Texas status…as it would have needed to be defined on your application. You didn’t graduate from a Texas high school…so that would red flag any attempt at claiming Texas residency.
