Question about UC admission factors

I noticed that there is a specific GPA for UC schools where it is only based on your sophmore and junior year. Does that mean the grades you get senior year don’t matter at all? Will the UC schools ever receive a transcript including grades from senior year? I know they look at how rigorous your course load is for senior year which is why I want to know if they look at the grades you get. I am conflicted between taking AP Calculus BC (which seems more rigorous) or AP Statistics, but I know I’m going to have difficulty with AP Calc BC probably getting a C or B grade.

I don’t believe that they see your senior grades. You have to report your 7th semester grades after they come out, but I believe that is only to make sure your grade hasn’t dropped substantially and you haven’t failed anything. That being said, if you do poorly, they will know. But I don’t think a B or C will change their decision.
