the LS series is the Life Science series... theres LS 1,2,3 and 4.
I forgot which one is which, but the series includes evolution, tissues&organs and genetics i think.

i passed biology ap test, but only with a three...................so i don't if i should take the credit or take the class????????????, also i didn't meet the english requirement so what class would i have to take..............

i know, biology major, was a longer word, so i used pre med.............
i have read enough anti "premed" posts, i dodn't know why i still used that very word..............

I'm doing LS 1. But that's cuz I met all the math requirement and English req. Plus I have credit for chem 20 A (although I might retatke it). Quick question, do people usually take LS 2, 3, & 4 in sequential quarters, or are there ppl that say take LS 2 in the winter quarter and then take LS 3 in the fall quarter?

They don't even give credit for AP Bio..................................... Anyways. what english requirement???????????? Writing I? Then EngComp3.

many of the sophmores I met skip around when taking the LS series. You can take any class anytime you want, as long as you meet the requirements.

I don't know how LS 1 will really be like until I take the midterm, which is this friday ->! But the teacher seems chill. She reminds me of a teddy bear! :)

hmm ok keep me posted after the midterm. i'm curious how LS1 is, especially in an accelerated summer class. philosophy isnt too bad right now, hardly any reading, but i have my midterm this week too so i'll let you know.

english req the 680 on SAT or pass the AP exam, or the pass the AWPE, i didn't meet that, so i am gonna have to takea lower level english, i don't know which one though.

also, do htey help you chose clases at orientation??????? or do we have to fend for ourselves.....

If you haven't satisfied your entry level english requirement, you are required "to enroll in either English Composition A or 2 (determined by performance on the Analytical Writing Placement Examination) or 2I (determined by performance on both the Analytical Writing Placement Examination and English as a Second Language Placement Examination) as early as possible during their first year in residence. Each course must be taken for a letter grade and passed with a grade of C or better. Students receiving a final grade of C− or less must repeat the course during their next term in residence. Satisfaction of the Entry-Level Writing requirement is a requisite to English Composition 3 and all subsequent English courses."

oh thats all right then............... no wonder i didn't see any questions about classes...................

i just thought because, you know how high school teachers and counselars says that you gotta do everything on your own... that's why i was kinda nervous..........
