I applied to Fordham EA today via the Your Choice Application online. If I get deferred from EA, am I still considered for RD? And can I send in more grades from Sr. year if I am considered for RD? The problem is that I believe my Sr. grades will pull up my chances since I am taking AP's and have been doing well in class. I applied EA but that would mean that Fordham would not see my Sr. grades at the latest date. If I am rejected, can I still send in my latest Sr. grades for RD? I am also taking the Nov. Sats, so would that be too late for EA? I already sent in the online app for Fordham EA, but does that mean the other credentials like SAT scores, transcript, and recs. have to be in by Nov.1 as well??? Thanks.

November SATs should be fine. Make sure to go to Collegeboard’s website and order your scores be sent to Fordham with the four free score reports; this way they’ll send it as soon as you take the test.

Transcript and recs should be in by Nov. 1 but most schools are somewhat lenient on this. Get them in ASAP but you will probably be okay. Check with the school to be sure. SAT scores do not need to be in by Nov. 1 but your Oct (or earlier date) scores should be on the way right now.

If you are rejected, you cannot send in your latest senior grades for RD. That’s a risk you took in applying EA. However, if you are deferred you will automatically be considered for RD. Fordham will want to see your first semester senior grades if this happens.

Ahhh… I see thanks. But what do you mean by I can’t send in my latest Sr. Grades when I can send in the 1st semester grades? 1st semester meaning the 1st term of 12th grade… which is around late December to January?
