Question on the scholarship essay

"UK faculty and students constantly push the frontiers of learning, including ways to make technology more friendly. What technological innovation or invention would the world be better off without and why?"

The prompt begins with an article about how UK works with user interface, but if it's there, am I expected to talk about something user-interface related in the essay, or could I get away with writing about something more generic such as WMDs, mass surveillance, etc. It seems like it's there for a reason, so hopefully it's not just for UK to plug its programs.

@GameRoom…Our D2 opted for a different question, but her interpretation was that you could write about any technological innovation you wished if you chose that prompt. The article was linked in order for UKy to tout it’s own programs, but it wasn’t intended to be the particular focus for the prompt. Good Luck!!

DS answered that question and wrote his thoughts about another technological invention. He didn’t address the UK/interface thing at all. Hope that helps & good luck to you.
