Hi,

Just like every one else who plans apply this year, I'm filing out the UC app ahead of time.

Looking through the course agreements that various UCs have with my cc( Mt San Antonio College), I have notice that a Art History course (History of Roman Art and Architecture) does not have a equivalent course taught at any UC other than UC Santa Cruz.

Note: I have been using Assist.org to search which classes are UC transferable and what not.

At my cc the course is UC certified, and my counselor has said that as long as it fulfills the IGETC then I shouldn't worry about it ( I'm a History Major btw). I'm in doubt, so that's why I'm here.

My question is, will a particular UC still accept the course's credit toward completion of the Humanities portion of IGETC although there is not a equivalent course taught at the institution?
