Question regarding the TOEFLs (as an International)....

I just have a quick question regarding the TOEFLs....

I'm currently an international student living in the Philippines, but I have been attending an American school since Pre-K, and as a result am very fluent in both my home language and english.

In fact, I have taken the IGCSE Exams for English Literature (First Language) last year and have passed them with A's (for both the Literature section and the Writing section). I also plan to take AP English Lit next year, and am sure I'll pass with flying colors.

In any case, would my exam scores from the IGCSE Exams and the fact that I'm taking AP English exempt me from taking the TOEFLs? I mean, my transcript would know that I've been taking an English course ever since elementary. Is that enough?

Basically: even though I have taken all these courses and can provide proof of them, would I need to take the TOEFL Exams as I am an international student?

From our Web site:
"The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required of applicants whose native language is not English and who attend a non-English-speaking high school. If you attend an English-language school but do not speak English at home, you should take the TOEFL. If your native language is not English and you attend high school in the U.S., you must take the TOEFL if you have been here for fewer than five years."

Since you have been attending an American School for more than five years, then the last sentence applys to you and you do not need to take TOEFL.
