I was recently admitted to UC Santa Barbara. They offered me a financial aid package that covers almost everything. I know that students are required to have health insurance, and it costs about $460.00 per quarter. If I opt to waive the school's health insurance, will they deduct the cost from my total financial aid package?
Thanks.

Does your package actually include the costs for that? You can usually only waive the school health insurance if you have comparable coverage through your parents.
