I’m going to be an undergraduate student at Davis. I was just wondering if Davis had a school of pharmacy that I could transfer into it after 4 years of college, instead of transferring to an outside graduate school.

No Davis does not. I think San Diego is the only UC with a pharmacy graduate school (Skaggs School of Pharmacy), but even an undergraduate would have to apply for admission, not simply transfer. USC also has one for both entering freshmen (the TAP program) and graduate students-but again, no direct transfer. Most people will have to apply to pharmacy graduate schools, which is why they are so competitive xD

Ohh gotcha. Thanks.
:)

San Francisco

like hermanliu320 said, go to Davis, get your bachelor degree and go to UCSF for grad.

alright then. thanks.

UCSF is also #1 pharmacy school in the nation…would that be like applying Ivy as an undergrad xD

While UCSF is very competitive it’s definitely possible. For med school undergrad reputation isn’t considered at all for admission. Going to a harder undergrad school actually hurts your chances with the same GPA ( competing against classmates). I am not positive if this is similar to pharmacy, but so far I’ve only seen evidence that top law schools care a lot about prestige.
