<p>So I partied at DEKE on Friday and Saturday last weekend and had a great time. I'm a freshman thinking about joining a frat, but I don't really know much about the culture of the place.</p>
<p>What is DEKE's personality? It seemed like a bunch of really nice guys. Is that assessment correct?</p>
<p>What are the frats for normal, chill people who work hard but also like to party?</p>

<p>Yeah, the posts on here about frats have been kinda true, but not that much so. From what I read, Teke was a crap house and never threw parties. Went to one there and it was a pretty good party, and the brothers were all super nice and chill. That’s when I figured out the rankings and stuff on here are just kind of pointless.</p>

<p>Stop advertising your freaking frats by pretending you are freshmen. Especially you people talking about tke. Spamming the same thing in 10 threads about tke makes it more than obvious you are a brother and won’t make the frat any better. Annoying as hell.</p>

<p>there are good and bad boys at every frat. I believe that there was an inquiry into a rape last year at dke, but I dont know how it turned out. also, the two dke bros I know are into hallucinogenic drugs. But I only know two dke bro’s and maybe theyre the bad ones. the two fiji guys I met are very very nice, and they invite me n my friends to parties whenever they have em.</p>

<p>I got annoyed with u because I browse the site after being away from it for a couple weeks and I come across tons of posts where u say the same thing over and over about tke. If ur not a brother then my comment isn’t relavent, but it’s really annoying if u r. Just seemed like a desperate attempt by a brother spamming our boards. I don’t like dke at all n the only person I know who joined tke is OBSESSED with World of Warcraft. Sry to bring it to a low level but people will find out during rush anyway. Also don’t like delta chi (better reputation than dke and tke tho…just some crappy ppl I know r in it). What’s funny is that there are less than a handful of frats I dislike, but dke and delta chi are 2 of em.</p>
<p>I definitely understand that it could be seen as a brother posting. But I have only mentioned it twice (that I recall) once that they had a good party, and this one that I didn’t think they were bad like everyone else said. </p>
<p>My view could change come rush time when I get to meet them more, but as of now my opinion is that they’re nice guys.</p>

Asking other people for their opinions of a frat isn’t nearly as effective as establishing your own opinion by getting to know them. Just a thought. :)</p>
