If a college has an app deadline does that mean I just need to send in my common app by Jan 1? Do I have to send in my LORs and other stuff by Jan 1? My high school sends transcripts by mail. Don’t most colleges close for winter break so how will they actually receive the LORs?
Everything should be in by the deadline. That said I believe most colleges won’t hold it against you if your school is late with an item.
The LORs and other stuff can typically be received 1-2 weeks later and still be fine.
