Questions about Davis?

Hi, I’m strongly considering Davis, and I have a couple of questions:

As a regent scholar I was offered admission to the ISHP program. This program sounds very interesting, but I’m also going to be pre-med, and I was wondering how taking ISHP courses would affect my schedule in terms of which classes I take when. If any Davis pre-meds are in this program, I would appreciate any and all feedback.

I applied as a Geology Major, which is in L&S I believe. However, I would like to switch it to either anthropology or NPB. In the case of NPB, I would have to switch to the college of biological sciences. Would I have to do a quarter of coursework as a geology major or can I start out at davis as anthro/NPB, and how hard would it be to switch into bio science college?

You can start out at Davis as anthro/NPB–you do not have to do a quarter of coursework as a geology major. It’s not that hard to switch into the College of Biological Sciences, but you do need to wait until winter quarter to declare a major change. You also need to meet with a peer adviser of the respective college you want to switch into.
