A lot of my friends have the LASP. I might invest in one next year mainly for football but I'm not too sure on how the whole draw system works. Do you stand in line on draw days for a ticket? And what about on Red River games?

Thanks.

Have you seen this? [TEXAS OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE - Tickets](http://www.texassports.com/tickets/obtain-student-tickets.html)

If you navigate a bit around the site, there is more information about the assignments for season tickets, etc., and I think a section on Red River games as well.

If you plan on going to more than one football game, i’d suggest getting the season ticket, just because its $70, and practically guaranteed, the students who don’t get the season tickets have to wait in line to get them (some actually skipped class and camped out for them) so competition is fierce, especially for OU weekend and the Tech game…

the LASP is $70. season tickets are much more, although I forgot how much more.

The LASP football season ticket is $65, in addition to the $70 basic LASP, so it’s a total of $135 to guarantee a seat at all home games for every sport. Having the season ticket gives you priority for away games (like OU) as well. Compared to what you would pay not being a student, it’s an amazing deal, and you have the security of knowing you’ll have guaranteed tickets. Camping out seems like such a waste when you can knock it out in one fell swoop.

Plus when you draw LASP tickets you almost always end up in the sections over 100, so not near the big group of students down in the general area of section 27. It makes the game so much more exciting to be down close to the field with thousands of other students.
