I am transferring to UT this Fall and I am really excited about football season. The problem is I don't know anyone else who is buying a season football ticket. Is it going to be weird going to football games alone? Or should I just get the regular LASP and then wait until I meet people and do the draw weekly for football tickets? I just don't want to chance not getting a ticket if something happens and I can't make it to the draw.

I’m in the same position as you I won’t know anybody there but I think it’s better if you just buy the tickets now that’s what I did. Chances are you’ll meet friends right away and go with them :)

how does the LASP work? so you pay the 80$ and then what? Do you automatically have season tickets to all the games?

No if you want to have reserved tickets you have to pay 150 the 80 only get you the opportunity to enter a draw, but you have to wait in line and hope you can get tickets to football games. If you pay the 150 the you’re guaranteed tickets you can choose either one when you buy the tickets

Wow so you pay $80 just to have a chance to get football or basketball tickets? But you pay another 70 on top of that to guarantee tickets to each game

Yes it sucks but i think you do get guaranteed tickets to other sports like soccer and baseball if you only pay the 80 dollars but I personally only care about football. If you’re really like football then you should definitely spend the 150

This is my second year with the LASP. Here’s my advice:
-Get the $80 LASP.
-Wake up early on the first “draw day” and get in line for tickets (UT doesn’t run out of tix that easily).
-If you want to sit next to your girls, ya’ll all have to stand in the line together and go to the window together. Team work!
Super easy.
