Hello CC

I am an incoming freshman and I have learned based on Financial information that I will most likely be going to Rutgers-NB for my next four year! However in between the applying process and today I have decided to switch majors and am not sure how to do it for Rutgers. I want to switch from Chemistry in the SAS to Biochemistry which i believe is in the School of Enviormental and Biological Sciences. My question is how do i go about changing my major/school.

Please help but thanks in advance :)

You have to apply as a transfer if you want to switch schools at Rutgers.

Wait, I’m confused even if I’m not changing to a different campus I have to apply as a transfer? Please explain

He means you have to apply to transfer from SAS to SEBS, i think it’s called a school-to-school transfer. Rutgers - Newark to Rutgers University - New Brunswick would also be considered a school-to-school transfer.

The people above are correct. You have to apply for a school to school transfer to go from the SAS to the SEBS. It’s a very simple application and an essay is optional. It’s easier than your college entry application.
