Questions about SAT Scores and Admissions Fees

I am really hoping someone can answer these questions :)

I am applying to 4 schools due January 1st and 8 more schools due January 15th. I sent my SAT scores on Dec. 21st (for the Jan. 1st schools) and Dec. 24th (for the Jan.15th) schools? Will my SAT scores arrive by the deadline? And if not, is this a problem or do colleges generally accept SAT scores after the deadline? I listed the colleges below. If anyone knows that one of these colleges has a problem with late received SAT scores please let me know. And if their is a problem what do I do? Can I change the method of sending to "rush report" or is that a waste of money?

My January 1st schools:
-Connecticut College
-Amherst College
-Bates College
-Hampshire College

My January 15th schools:
-American University
-Smith College
-Skidmore College
-Mount Holyoke College
-Wheaton College (Mass.)
-University of Puget Sound
-Wellesley College
-Clark University

Secondly, how long does it take for application fees to be processed? I paid Amherst 6 days ago and my bank still says the payment is pending. Any thoughts or suggestions? The CommonApp says that it can take up to two days for a payment to be received and processed . Is this typical for colleges? So does the college have to have processed the application fee by their due date or is submitting it enough?

Thanks in advance to anyone that has any information. I know I asked a lot of questions but its coming down to the deadline and like a lot of other people I am just nervous :/

Test scores can arrive after the app deadline although it is highly likely that at least your Jan 15 schools will have them well before Jan 15. Moreover as to your Jan 1 schools, Conn does not require scores to be in its hands until Feb 1, Amherst actually accepts the Jan SAT test, and neither Bates nor Hampshire require test scores so as unrequired supplemental material the test scores can obviously arrive after the deadline date. Sending the payment to Amherst by the application deadline date is all that is required and you have obviously already done that.
