Questions about transfering to biology

<p>I applied to A&M's College of Science with a 3.4 GPA. My first and only choice was Biology, and on accident I put Bachelors of Arts instead of Bachelors of Science.</p>

<p>I checked daily to see the progress of my application, and within three weeks they changed my major to General Studies. I've completed 47 hours.</p>

<p>My questions are: Why did they change me to General Studies? And since they did, does it mean it's auto-admit?</p>

<p>I think you are being admitted into General Studies. If you are rejected, they don’t change your major they just reject you. i doubt the BA instead of BS made any difference.My best guess is that Biology is full and you are being admitted to General Studies.</p>
