Questions about transferring from CC to NYU

<p>Can anyone provide some broad information about this?</p>

<p>-What is the optimal GPA?
-Do they look at SAT scores?
-Do they look at high school GPA?</p>

<p>I'm only on my second semester at a community college (Santa Monica College) but here are my current stats.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.8
Extracurriculars: 200+ hours working at the school library (I will be doing more, such as internships)
SAT: 1930
High school GPA: 2.4(?)</p>

<p>Yeah, I was a terrible student in high school. In my sophomore year, I got below a 1.0 GPA. I think if anything that my horrible high school grades will help me because it shows that i improved a LOT. but thats just my take on it.</p>

<p>If anyone can provide more specific info that would be great.</p>

<p>610 on U.S. History… And I won’t say the other one. Haha. Are those important?</p>

<p>I also got 4’s on the AP U.S. History and Language and Composition tests if that helps any.</p>
