<p>I’m not much of a science person, so I’m pretty worried about what I can get at UCD. I hope that anyone/someone can clear it up for me, haha. :)</p>
<p>I know that the design department is fabulous. It has become quite popular so the classes are sometimes hard to get. The english department is excellent and has some very prestigious professors. Students frequently comment about the English department being better than they imagined. Political Science has some really neat opportunities due to UCD's close proximity to the state capital. I don't know if you like art, but UCD has a very highly ranked art department as well. I don't know too much about the other departments on your list.</p>
<p>If you want to major in English, I would highly recommend you take English 3 with Walker your freshman year. It'll introduce you nicely to the major, and teach you a lot about the kind of writing you'll be doing later on.</p>
