Okay I have a few questions so please bear with me. If you can only answer a couple by all means go for it because any help I get is good!

I just submitted my UCF Honors application so I am hoping I will get in.

Financial Aid:

I did FAFSA and now on myucf it says I have to submit my parent's Tax Return and also a Verification Worksheet. How do I do this? By mail?

Housing:
I placed a preference for Lake Claire for housing, but if I find that I get into UCF Honors in April, will I be able to switch that to the Towers Honors Housing, or will it be filled up already?

Also, for financial aid I got the full FAFSA package so my family doesn't need to contribute, plus I have Bright Futures and Pegasus Gold. It came to be around 18,000. Will this amount be able to pay for everything? Tuition, Room and Board, books, living expenses, or no?

If I AM able to switch to Towers from Lake Claire, will my financial aid pay for it, since it's more expensive and is an 11.5 month contract?

Is there a deadline for registering for orientation? What is recommended to do? I am waiting for my Honors reply and I think there is an orientation for Honors students.

Honors orientation is June 10-11. They packet I got back for the Honors college did not mention a deadline to registar for orientation. Just wait for their reply…they should take care of everything. You can e-mail dogariu@mail.ucf.edu if you have urgent questions.

$18,000 a year? That should be enough. I’d suggest doing a budget sheet for yourself; this is what I did. If it’s $18,000 a year, you should be able to pay for Towers ($8,700 a year including summer) and everything else you need. I’m pretty sure you’ll have enough for all that you listed above. I am living off about $12,000 a year.

I don’t know about housing filling up. You can call them and ask.

Can’t answer any of the financial aid info, but with regards to house … if you get into honors you’ll be asked if you want honors housing. In the past Burnett has submitted the list of those who want honors housing and housing makes the correction for you.

For the copy of your parent’s tax return and verification worksheet I did it by mail (and everything has worked out). My friend said she is just going to fax it which really would be quicker I guess, but I don’t know I would still mail it because I’m weird lol…you could call and see which they prefer if anything.
