Quick question about IGETC language req

The IGETC for UC's says "proficiency equivalent to two years of high school study in the same language with a C or better."

In high school I took three years of Spanish, however my grades went like this:

Year 1
Spanish 1: B
Spanish 2: C

Year 2
Spanish 3: C-
Spanish 4: D

Year 3
Spanish 5: C
Spanish 6: B

I was a bad student in high school lol. But as you can see I got a D in my 2nd year...the requirement says 2 years but nothing about if it has to be consecutive or not.

Do I fulfill the requirement?

You are fine. The UCs also “validate” language proficiency. The fact that you passed Spanish 3 means you have 3 years of Spanish.

Thank you! I never thought of that. What a relief.
