Okay, so I'm attending a Community College in California. Set to transfer Fall 2015 as an Accounting major. I'm mostly looking at CSU's and UC Santa Barbara. All require Calculus, all accept Business Calculus. I'd much prefer to do Business Calculus. When I came to CCC, I tested into low-level math course. Had to work my way up from Pre-Algebra to where I am now, which is College Algebra level - haven't taken college level math course yet.

I don't have the time to work up from Trig => Precal => Calc, nor do I want to. Not if I can take Business Calc.

My current CCC doesn't have Business Calculus, so working through that trek is my only option. Would my chances be lessened if I took the Business Calculus course at University after transfer? I will have all of my prereqs finished except Business Calc upon transfer. As for the IGETC/CSU math requirements, I'd have that fulfilled with Statistics.

I thought about taking Business Calc at another CCC, but it isn't feasible. It's too far to drive everyday. Just.. no way. I don't live near the cities in California, I'm in the desert area. Commuting out is over an hour, just one way.

Any help is appreciated!
