Quick Question

I am thinking about taking community college classes in my hometown once summer vacation starts and I was wondering...

If UCLA allow students to enroll in community college during summer vacation in order to knock out GE and other classes that the student wants to get out of the way?

Or are you only limited to taking classes only at UCLA during summer vacation?

Assuming that it's a california CC, it should be fine. Just make sure that whatever you enroll in is recognized by UCLA so that you get the credit. Lots and lots of people do this.

I am hoping to knock out some Math/History requirements at a San Diego Community College.

allie, can you provide me with a link where I can verify the classes?

You should talk to a counselor before you enroll in anything. They'll tell you what will transfer over.

Excuse my ignorance, but how do I go about getting in contact with my counselor?

Is there a link on my MYUCLA page?

You can make counseling appointments on MYUCLA.

^ there's the link for some of the articulation agreements with other community colleges in the area

access works as well

I suppose you could also use assist.org.

just make sure to double check with a counselor.

hahah access. wow

assist -__-"

allie > me

daniel:

I've heard of some people from San Diego attending UCLA taking summer classes at UCSD as well. This would almost surely transfer since it's a UC (but still check) but will cost more than a CC and probably be a more difficult, but possibly better, class.
