Quick Question

I'm applying to all my schools regular decision, and most of the deadlines hover around 1/15. If my semester ends 1/24, and we receive our grades 2/3, will colleges see my grades before they make the final decision, assuming that the grades arrive around 2/5? I know that this isn't a black and white issue, but I'm just asking for the general consensus. Thanks so much for the help in advance.

i dont know about the timeline, but i do know you shouldnt be applying to more than 1 school ED (let alone all of them!)

My fault, I meant regular decision, thanks for picking that up.

Most of the schools would make a decision bases on other materials (reference letters, your app, essay etc). As far as the final grade goes, it is not very important to them because they do not expect your final grade would change your over all GPA dramatically. In fact, they expect to see you perform statically instead of like riding a roller coaster.

Right, I understand that, but I'm trying to rebound from rough freshman/sophomore years. I had all A's last year, but I'm hoping to show even more progress, so senior year grades are important to me. I'm just wondering if anyone has any input on whether or not the semester grades would get there in time. Thanks for the responses, though.

Bump, does anyone know?
