quick question

so i already got into msu, im just waiting if umich admits me or not

just wondering the deadline says may something to turn in money and say ur going, if i do it towards the end will they still have a seat for me or will the class of 2015 attendance be all full?

and another quick Q. my counselor said that there was a student in my school who got into msu and slacked off senior year and then when msu looked at his grades they said they didnt want him. if i get like all B's or like 1/4 B's and maybe 1 C. will they reject me

and what is the college for sciences like lsa at umich. is it lyman briggs? and how do u get into honors college

i know its a stupid Q,, im just a noob =(

I heard the deadline to reply is i think a month but i thinks that bogus cause it takes awhile for other colleges to give you their decision, but I heard the deadline to respond is May so don’t sweat it.

MSU isnt as competitive as UMich, i think you would be fine if you had a C, now if you truly show that you’re slacking then probably they may, but just keep doing good in school so you can get scholarships from private organizations.

As for UMich, idk about their honors program, im from Orlando and only applied to MSU, how long did it take for them to respond to you? I applied Oct 12

i applied on october 17th and decision was made on oct 19th and i got letter back on oct 25th or 26th. it was real quik.

I can answer about the Honors College portion of your question:

[Honors College Admission](<a href=“Admissions Overview - MSU Honors College”>Admissions Overview - MSU Honors College)

"Students interested in becoming members of the Honors College should first apply for admission to Michigan State University. A completed application for MSU admission serves as the application for Honors College membership; there is no separate application process. Invitations are extended within four to six weeks of the MSU admission to high school students who:

Rank in the top 5 percent of their high school graduating class.
Have an ACT composite score of at least 30 or an SAT score of at least 1360 (Critical Reading plus Math sections only). MSU requires an ACT or SAT with a writing component.
The Honors College may also request additional information, such as seventh semester grades, before extending an invitation to membership.

Students who have outstanding records and are close to the criteria also will receive a comprehensive individualized evaluation and may be invited based on all of the characteristics listed above."

:)

ah i c but my school doesnt give rankings, but i assume im up there and i have a 32 on mah act. so if i dont get another letter back in 4-6 weeks from my application its implied that i didnt get into honors college?

any1 have any ideas? bump =P…lions suck

any1 have any ideas ?

Yeah you just have to wait and see. If you hear back from the HC through mail you got in. If not, you can always give them a call and ask for re-consideration, but most likely you are out of luck.
