Does anyone know how good the CS major is at Quinnipiac? I am concerned because the university seems very focused on the health sciences.

You should get a copy of their current course guide, which will show very few CS course offerings.

@cemac123 we have a full Computer Science degree, alongside a degrees in Software Engineering and an ABET accredited program in Information Systems Management. About 70% of our students are not in a health science program but rather in the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business and Engineering, and Communications.

It is much more informative to hear responses here from current students and their parents than from a paid employee of a school. For anyone interested in CS, I would suggest you contact the school directly to get a copy of the course listings to actually see how many courses are offered, how many students have declared that major, and then maybe even sit in on a class.
As far as CS programs, there are many many many wonderful known programs, but an admissions director posting a College CONFIDENTIAL is simply marketing so please keep that in mind
