Rank my prospective schools

College Majors Business Major

<p>Can someone rank my prospective schools for Fall 2008 transfer. I just want to get an idea of what you guys think and what I should aim for. I consider all of these schools to be fair mix of match and reach schools. Ranking doesn't have to be fancy or anything.</p>

<p>University of Michigan-Ann Harbor
University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill
Indiana University – Bloomington
Georgetown University
New York University
Boston College
Fordham University
Northeastern</p>

<p>Also, considering my schools are east-coast schools, do you guys have any other recommendations?</p>

<p>Before the ranking occurs, what do you want most out of the school you're transferring to? Do you fancy job placement, quality of business education, or in some specific field?
If you're looking into job placement....
1. Stern--NYU
2. Ross-- Michigan
3. Georgetown
4. Boston College
5. UNC
6. Indiana (Kelley)
7. Fordham
8. Northeastern
I wouldn't put much weight in these rankings. Others on this forum may be able to give you more specific details.</p>

<p>Assuming B School for all, I'd throw Ross in #1 (tie with Stern). Both are pretty damn good.</p>

<p>I think it depends on where the OP wants to wind up when he's done. Ross has an excellent rep in MI and surrounding states...</p>

<p>People don't go to Ross to work in Michigan. The most common destination for Ross grads after graduation is the northeast (mainly NYC).</p>

<p>As for the ranking, I'd go with sheed's list.</p>
