I think you should ask this again when we're all much older. Only then will we be able to say the truely rememberable years/moments.

Senior (current. Getting into college is always good.)

Sophomore (those were the days of the near-perfect GPA.)

Freshman (glasses and braces never make for very memorable experiences.)

Freshmen-Not memorable at all, didn't do anything great, but had an amazing spanish teacher

Junior year was terrible, but memorable.

First, probably Freshman year. I was a hoot back then. That was when I started to care about things more than The Godfather and Phish, i.e. developing my tastes in the arts, philosophy, and politics. Even if my views were crap.
Senior year (for obvious reasons)
Sophomore Year - I had a couple great teachers who I still think of often. And I stopped being a republican (yay!)

Senior year. The best part, honestly, was having the freshmen there. I loved being "big brother" to them and was always there for them no matter how much some seniors criticized me for being good buddies with them. I also had a lot of fun times with my friends, didn't have too many academics, and got to skip class a lot due to computer problems that I had to fix. This was the only year I had my car during high school so I had that to look forward to every day (and pay for...) We also had a trip to Disney in there plus I was on the TV crew and got to broadcast announcements live before the school every day!

Freshman year. Eighth grade was a rocky year until the final two months and this year picked up where it left off. My grades weren't the greatest but my friends and I were always up to something. People hadn't changed yet and it was really the last year I hung out with a few people--back when they weren't weird or anything. Plus there were less worries--didn't have to care about college, no thoughts of drivers tests or paying for gas, etc.

Junior year. This was a year with its good and bad points. On one hand it was my best academic year--I got straight A's. On the other hand things got rocky between some of my friends and I was sort of the guy who didn't take either side. The positive to this is that it drew me close to two others who I got to know while my other buddies were fighting amongst themselves. It got to be enjoyable all around by May.

Sophomore year. Terrible start in all respects. People started changing and some became downright cruel. My grades tanked and some wondered if I was a has-been as far as academics went. I rebounded to have the most incredible second semester with the academics but kept my profile low in terms of a social life--I basically got close to the guys I'm still close to and left some of them go.

Senior
The rest were non-descript, and I don't remember them overall, just certain events such as an exchange program to China in 10th grade. However, the one thing I will remember from this year is going to college and leaving angry at high school and yet about ready to scat my pants from college.

I don't know, senior year is overrated. I had so many expectations coming into this year and they didnt happen, which is why I'm unhappy. However, the fun factor of my senior year is much greater than all the other years, but its just not enough to make me satisfied.

Nomad, someone proposed to you in high school???

Junior: was amazing in every respect. Sure, the academics were a lot to handle, and there's a lot of pressure with grades and SATs and whatnot, but it was just a brilliant year. The academic motivation really kicked in for once and I got straight As, I finally had friends, got my license, won some writing awards, took my favorite class ever (contemporary literature), had amazing teachers, and just had a generally grand time.

Senior (at least this second semester): the most stressful year ever, but probably my second favorite. There's college stuff, but the academics are a little lighter. I've had good teachers, too. But there does seem to be a lot of drama this year...I think people just become really stressed out because of college and everthing else. But it has been pretty good.

Sophomore (only by a smidgeon): It was the last year that I had to take math, so that was good. I don't really remember too much about it. I finally started to make friends and classes were ok.

Freshman: We had just moved, and I knew NOBODY. It was a pretty lonely year. I honestly can't remember much at all about it.
