RANT ALERT: I just feel like *****ing about my life

Actually the "genius" at my school used this to mess with JD's mind once. JD is incredibly homophobic so the "genius's" rationale was pretty good. Weird, this was right out of Wikipedia too (the situation and all).

I kind of misworded the question, It should've been more like "What kind of a game is it when the rules are in favour of a select few?"

Huh?

Ya it's probably denial. But I don't know I definitely feel like I'm not one of them. I have really lavish career dreams and I don't try to hide them, but college just isn't one of them.

sunshineyday, thank god the people here aren't like that. But they do say stuff like "Oh I'll probably get in, I did xyz and I do xyz".

Hahah, that's just a personal belief of mine. Because I know how our mind tries to protect ourselves, I try to bypass any defense mechanisms so I can face the truth. I think it prepares me better for the future and I receive less surprises when things go good or bad.

but then again, I find myself sometimes using defense mechanisms too. we are all human. but knowing what you are doing is better than just blindly doing it, for you can then try to correct your wrongs.
