So I’m gonna switch to college of biosci, but not totally sure about my schedule;

Taking Chem2a, Mat17a, Psc 1 and a freshman seminar. Kind of worried about psych mostly, because I’m geninuely interested in it and have never taken it before, but worried because it satisfies almost no GE requirements.

Any ideas/advice/recommendations?

Muchas Gracias :)

That’s a good schedule. Even if PSC 1 doesn’t count for many GE requirements, it does count for units for graduation at least. If you’re interested in it, you might as well keep it.

The first year or so you should take one or two major req classes, a GE, and if you can take a class you are interested in, just because you are interested in it. You need 180 units to graduate and many of these units will be made up of classes that are not in your major, and are not GE classes. That means you can and should take quite a few classes that you take just for fun! That is a big part of what college is about. I am going to graduate this year and in addition to major classes and GE I have taken PE classes, World Music, European History, Latin American Politics, etc. I would love to take some more music, art and who knows what but my time here is almost over! Take as many classes as you can “just because you are interested in them.”
