<pre><code> The only thing that seems constant in this ever changing and developing world is "Change" itself.It doesn't matter if people accept change or not because they have to succumb to change as it is inevitable.
Change has never done any good to us human beings.To us,it has been a pernicious phenomena which has only degraded and threatened our traditional values,moral values and even our environment.According to a survey done in US,80% of US families used to have dinner together until the society saw a developmental change,which lead to the rise and opening of new entertainment centers like theaters,malls,etc.After this developmental change,the number of families who spent time together at the dinner table dropped down to 46%. These figures in themselves are the proof of the affect of the developmental changes on the family life and values.
As if the family values weren't compromised enough,moral values also degraded.In Scotland,the legal age for Coetus had to be decreased from 20 to 14 years.Marriage, which once was known as god's wish for people,also lost its values.The number of people who took divorce in last 5 years was greater(Britney spears,Kim Kardashian,etc. played a big role in it) than the number of people who took divorce in the last decade.The modern values have led youngsters towards drugs(because they think it's cool) and have made derailed them from the path of religion.
The Environment itself is weathering the harmful effect of global warming,pollution,etc ,which too are directly or indirectly are a result of the developmental change or modernization.Forests are being cleared for human needs.Earth's resources are being exploited by mining,etc.
If people wouldn't have tried so hard to change their life style or their surrounding environment,they would have been living a blissful life as was lived buy our ancestors.It's not the need but the greed of the people that makes us to resent our changed world and values.
