what are some other sites similar to this

ratemyteacher.com

pickaprof.com

pickaprof costs money ($5/semester).....but it also lets you see grade distributions for the courses and teachers to give you an idea of the course difficulty. Ratemyprofessor.com naturally has more reviews because it's free.

Certain schools have pickaprof for free. There aren't many reviews on there, but the grade charts are AWSOME!

virtualratings.com

MySpace has something like this.

The Columbia Underground Listing of Professor Ability (CULPA, culpa.info) is a far more helpful variant than a simple ratings system. Lots of detailed information; I've rarely found it off. I'm surprised other schools haven't emulated this.

pickaprof is free for me! I like ratemyprofessor for the most part, but some of the people who post there seem really lazy. It seems like they just didn't want to do the work and put in a little more than their usual amount of effort. So they gave poor reviews to professors that most people thought were good. But that's just my opinion and since I don't start college untill the fall I don't know for sure that I'm right, but this is how it seems to me.

the problem is w/ pick that prof is that its only offered at select schools

Yeah, only a handful of schools were available. I was suprised mine was there, considering that it's in the middle of nowhere and only average size.
