theOneCurlyFry, I got a Fedex package. And I got that email as well... So maybe?

Thanks. I'm hoping. Colgate will make it 5.5 acceptances (5 acceptances, one waitlist :P) out of 12 which isn't bad at all this year... :<.

I'm not thinking all "okay I'm in", though. WHY can't they email decisions?!

waitlisted? join the facebook group

I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN!

I got a Fedex package, too!

Yayyyayayayay.

Congratulations TheOneCurlyFry! I know you really wanted it.

congrats curly your long painful wait is over.

Thank you very much!

I've gotten into Colgate! I had set Cornell and Colgate as my top choices, and I seem to prefer smaller schools, so I'm quite happy =D

Comparing my stats to some of the other people here, I look so unqualified haha. I have 680 in all 3 of my SAT sections, as well as in literature, math level 2, and physics. My weighted GPA is 3.86, with 4 total AP classes, and I'm not too sure what my unweighted grade would be. Extracurriculars-wise, I was in two or three clubs each year, but I stepped up a notch this senior year and took up the school's two jazz bands, as well as the school musica's pit orchestra. Our high school has an absurdly good band program, and I was spending more time in the band room than most of them bandos despite the fact I'm an independent guitar player. I guess you can say that I'm a pretty balanced student.

A quick question: did anyone get financial aid/awards information? Maybe they send that stuff out separately later on?

TheOneCurlyFry, you were so lucky. I got my acceptance letter through regular mail.

they also send out acceptance letters in regular mail????

Yes they do. At least for me.

I got financial aid info with my package.

Weren't you an AMS, nutcracker?

I think they sent them through FedEx for RD. Regular mail will take wayyyyy too long. Damn, where is my Cornell acceptance letter?

You can check your Cornell decision online.

I checked. But I want my package.....
