Your test scores are low. It would be a big jump to gain 300 points. Do they say on their website that they will accept January scores, or have you confirmed that with admissions? You might check if you haven’t before spending the money on an application.
I’ve already contacted the office. They said that they would receive it on time.
Subject test scores and writing are great, but you will probably need to see at least another 100 points between M/CR to have a reasonable shot. Hope things go well on this next SAT go around.
If you’re an international (I assume you are) and you’re studying under a non-american high school education system, Carleton does NOT evaluate your SAT scores as part of your application. I’d advise you to work on your essays. Here is the email I got from my regional counselor-
“Thank you for your email. Although it is not required, applicants studying under the American system can submit SAT and/or ACT scores in support of their application. High scores can be used to boost their chances of admission. SAT/ACT scores submitted by students studying under any other system will not be taken into consideration when assessing them for admission.” Good Luck!
@Learner12388 Please disregard my previous post. It turns out I contacted Carleton University (the one in Canada) and not Carleton college. Carleton College will REQUIRE your SAT for your application to be considered complete. Sorry for this confusion.
@Livingteen1209
Ok. Thanks a lot.
