^ agree! today is THE day!

lets hope so because it is one day before duke.

I'm so bored that I just googled something about visualizing your dreams to manifest them, and got a result "Visualize Your Dreams: Succeed From Within!" and underneath: "When your dream becomes real for you, it can become real for everyone."

SO I'm visualizing decisions (hopefully acceptance, probably not) coming out today and making it become real for everyone and myself. so THINK DECISIONS today!

I just called Chicago about The Date, and they said by the end of the month.

This distinctly did not make me happy.

Though, the lady sounded stressed...so maybe its a clever ruse?

i really hope decisions come out today. There have been speculations that the decisions might be coming out tomorrow, i dont think i can wait another day!!

I have a gut feeling it's going to be Today.

Same here, but I've had a gut feeling it was going to be released the same day for the past week or so, so I'm not going to be too disappointed if it doesn't come out today.

definitely a little disappointed though

It's kind of strange living in Asia and receiving stuff from US universities. I get my decisions when I wake up (they come at about 2am so I'm asleep) so it's pretty funny that either I get shocked into waking up and running about like a nutcase if it's an acceptance (which kind of keeps me awake for awhile) or falling back to sleep if it's a rejection. lol.

AHH please today please today~~~

actually, no, I changed my mind =D it doesn't matter when it comes out. What really matters is that I GET IN!!! >____< ahhh good luck everyone~~~
Btw, did any Questbridgers find out yet? We should expect to hear back a day or two after those people right?

^ my D applied via Questbridge, and so far.. no news!!

=/ dang, then I probably shouldn't get might hopes up any time before April..
btw, the blog just got updated: https://blogs.uchicago.edu/collegeadmissions/
seems like they are flooded with calls asking them when!?!?!? lolz

Well I doubt the decisions are going to be released today due to that blog post. I say next Monday.

The Regular Decision applicants this year seem to be a quieter bunch than the Early Action applicants (we loved your comments and questions but were less enamored with your stress--don't stress yourself out for no reason!), and I can tell you that we in the office appreciate not being bombarded every five seconds with "When will the decisions be released?" (sometimes with the "Sent from my iPhone" or "Sent from my Blackberry Wireless" signature at the bottom which makes some of us in the office jealous). While we know that you are worried and want to know your admissions decision as soon as possible, we need time to give each application our full attention, so it's actually better for you in the long run if you relax and know that decisions will be released on or around April 1.

You will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to retrieve your decision. You will also be mailed a decision notification letter.
"

guys, forget about the UC releasing date; I am focusing on DUKE tomorrow, IVY next Tuesday.

Don't forget tho ;) UC loves to play mind games...just when you thot it isn't coming... BAM
okay that's all from me for now =D I'll keep my mouth shut and go to bed T__T YAWN

Looks like UChicago admission officer lied to me when she said that "decisions will be released early next week?"

Maybe they're behind schedule..?

OK, April 1. Lets take them at their word and just mellow out till then. Lots of colleges coming in before then.

Parents, have a nice glass of wine tonight and chill (I know I will)

Agree: "Maybe they're behind schedule."

and probably something unexpected happened.

They probably accidentally changed all acceptance to rejections.
