RD Decisions

We are in Towson.

Congrats to all that were accepted…The rest of us are on pins and needles…did anyone notice any changes to your account now that you have been accepted? Can you view your offer of awards and aid now? Thank you, and good luck to all…

For those who got accepted, and for those who did not, did you have access to the Student Account on the portal and the Banner Self Service website?

We received ours today in NJ. Best wishes to all those still waiting to hear.

CONGRATULATIONS to all who received acceptances, so far!!!
Still waiting in California. We expect it to be a while before the decisions reach this far west. We are also curious: To those who received their acceptance letter… Does your bannerselfservice page change at all? Can you see your financial aid awards online? It would be nice if someone that has received an acceptance letter so far would tell the rest of us this information! THANK YOU!

@calinative, my daughter was accepted and there was no difference in her bannerselfservice page.

Accepted- package arrived today- very personal letter they did to daughter.

nr1dad

Thank you so much! I appreciate the reply. Congratulations, to your daughter!!!

Hi Guys,

There is unfortunately no way to learn your decision from the Portal. You either learn through mail, or if you are an international you should have gottan an e-mail. I hope you the best!

Really frustrating. After all this wait, we are leaving on Spring Break this morning and won’t be picking up our mail for another week now. Will have to call them and see when/if we can get info over the phone because my son would be planning to attend an admitted student’s event if admitted and we would need some time to plan for that. Seems like others may be in the same boat.

Waitlisted…

needed a lot of financial aid.
?

well I was accepted to Lehigh IBE and Bucknell

What angers me the most is that they couldn’t even update their letter… the last paragraph says “I hope that we have the opportunity to finalize the shaping of Lafayette '16 with students from our wait list.” Like they are rubbing in my face how little they care… and I actually really liked Lafayette.

waitlisted :/

Nothing in Florida today.

Son in MD was accepted. I’m very happy about it because it is one of the few smaller schools he is in . . .I will say that their acceptance letter was very unique and personalized. It specifically referenced 4 or 5 different things from his application and interview. Excellent marketing idea.

Congrats. Where in MD are you from?

@robbob I completely agree it was such a **** you to get wait listed there because I think I was qualified and I’m a girl applying for engineering. 30 ACT, 4.038 W GPA, demonstrated a lot of interest, had a great interview, good recs and essays, good ECs. Praying for Lehigh…

Daughter in Chicago just received an acceptance letter. She’s been accepted at other schools, and this is by far the most personal letter - it referred to several of her EC interests that came up in the interview.

@ccholle and @robbob
I’m shocked you guys didn’t get in…

I just got in today and you guys seem to be way better students than me.

 • Civil engineering major
 • Pacific Islander/Asian male from California
 • 3.86 Weighted GPA
 • 1920 SAT (660 Critical Reading, 640 Mathematics, 620 Writing); SAT II (660 on the Math II and US History, my subject tests aren’t fantastic I admit)
 • Student body president; I’m really dedicated to my ECs but other than ASB, I don’t have leadership positions like @robbob

I showed a lot of enthusiasm during my interview (Laf is my number one choice). I think it came down to that interview, my ECs, and my personal statement. My letter said that’s what impressed the admissions committee.

You guys are really, really qualified students; no doubt, you guys are going to be successful wherever you end up. I hope for the best!

Anyone from California receive a decision, today? My DS decision from Lafayette was not in today’s mail. . .

I did! I live in a LA suburb. The package said first class mail, so it should come in tomorrow. (Mail still comes in on Saturdays right?)
