RD decisions

I got in...I actually lost my letter with my username/password for a long time and was very sad as I read all of the "OH! I want to find out early!" by everyone because, I wouldn't be able to...aw. But, I found it! And I'm in!

I don't know how to check financial aid though...?

Congratulations!!!

http://www.mtholyoke.edu/go/finaidonline

Enter your ISIS account name and your fin aid password (which is different from your ISIS password). If you lost your fin aid password, only enter the account name and click on "Receive Password by e-mail".

Thank you so much!!!

I am so happy, acceppted! I thought Mt. Holyoke was beyone my reach absolutely. I applied ED I to Kenyon and was rejected, ED II to Scripps and was rejected, rejected from CC and defered from Knox.

I got into Mills and Ohio Wesleyan around December, but was pretty apathetic about both.

Congrats to all of those who got in!

did any of you internationals get e-mails from DHL/FedEx about your MHC acceptance packages? my frd got admitted online but hasn't heard about it yet...

Curious Kid, I didn't get an e-mail either.

ok thanks b@r!um! i guess the DHL ppl will just show up with the package then. Congratulations again to you! I'm sure you'll love MHC (or Bryn Mawr, both great choices)!! :)

My d found out today that she was accepted!! She's happy.

I was accepted, they send it in a priority mail envelope, how strange. But apparently I had missing financial aid documents. YAY...

Accepted :-)

But no package yet.. Since when did mailmen not deliver mail because it is rainy?

Nice! A BIG package, you say? I can't wait.

Btw, I like your location.. Haha

This forum is very addicting. It's nice to chat about this while waiting.. I guess it kind of relieves the anxiety a bit.

A lot of my friends just got rejected so no one wants to hear me blab about more pending letters or acceptances (Hopefully!)

I want my package so bad :(

congratulations to those who got in! Did you get a link to the admitted students 2011 website on your ISIS page? I'm just curious to see if its any different from last years.

Thanks!

The link is http://www.mtholyoke.edu/adm/12988.shtml

Quite different from last year with cool videos and things.

Was anyone accepted Mid-Year to enter as a freshman during the spring term? I applied RD and was accepted...but my letter doesnt say for the fall. I don't understand why i can't come this fall, I dont like the idea of having a late start and missing out on meeting all the new freshman and not getting the chance to settle down into the school for the course of acdemic year.... I'm so excited about being accepted but I am a little disheartened that i can't come when everyone else is coming.

This means you are a spring admit. Disregard when you were accepted and just be happy that you were. Mt. Holyoke only accepted a very small number of spring admits, transfers, and fall admit students this year, quite a contrast from last year's. It was the biggest applicant pool and the smallest acceptance rate in the school's recent history. Spring admits start later, but there are a lot of them, and they learn to bond. Be proud! :)

Is there anyone else who like me was accepted per the online letter but still has not received the packet in the mail?

The 1st couple sentences in the letter that I got in the mail says..

"Congratulations! It's our great pleasure to offer you admission to MHC for entrance in Jan. 2008. You are among a select group of talented students whome we invite to take advantage of mid-year entrance..."

Then later on in the letter it talks about it more giving me options of how to spend my 6 months.... It even suggests Community college?!?! Idk, I can't decide what this really means...like if i was barely accepted or something
Or if i am a genuine pig testing out this spring admit thing...
Why would i go to community college when i could be taking the same classes in the fall with better teachers and being surrounded by bright young women.
I'm soo happpy with getting in...i just want to go in fall the and graduate with my class in time. Is there anyone out there that has a letter like this....it said 150 students received these.

really late response flootloop sorry!

My stats were incredibly lowww, granted I did have serious personal problems that interfered with my academic life as well as mental health 9th and 10th grade. I had an overal GPA of 3.0, SAT of 1800, and a 640 on Lit. Junior year I had a 3.6 and this year I have 3.7.
