Read commonapp essay for HYP, other ivies

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I'm kind of confused about the college essay. I have "50 Application Essays That Got Into Harvard" and a lot of the essays in that book are just very personal essays about growth/maturing etc. They don't really trumpet their own achievements. However, some of my older friends have said that the essay HAS to somehow show your achievements/awards. </p>

<p>So if anyone would like to read my essay that is not a 2010er, that would be great and I will PM it over. I am applying to Yale EA and other ivies and top tier schools.</p>
