Hello. I am studying for the December SAT and am looking for some help. I've already taken the SAT once before in October and scored a 750 math, 760 reading, 740 (9) writing. I know that these are pretty good scores, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to boost reading and writing. Math I don't have much trouble with, but writing and reading I don't seem to be able to improve.

Reading I've been scoring 61-63 raw score on almost every practice test, typically all missed on passages. I'm not good with the literature and "minority" passages since they're deathly boring to me. Does anyone have any advice on how to break this barrier? I've tried a lot of the techniques like underlining, writing in margins, etc, but still just don't get some of the passages. Any advice?

As far as writing goes, I almost always miss 3 on MC, which rounds down. Will studying the rules even more give me that extra leg up, or will I have to change a test taking technique? As far as the essay goes, I have a pretty good idea how to improve that since I didn't study much for it last time.

At this point, I'm trying to find those last few questions that will put me over the top. I'm not aiming for a 2400 or anything, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there anything that you did that helped you get a perfect/near perfect on these sections?
