Reading applications in order

<p>Do colleges, particularly Ivy Leagues, read applications in the order that they receive them, beginning a few weeks before the deadline? Is there a clear advantage in sending an application a few weeks in advance if you feel like it's already the best possible and have all standardized tests, rec letters, etc. ready?</p>
