Does anyone know what some good finance target schools for me would be?
Im thinking about EDing to stern but i dont really have any business ECs and my GPA is low compared to most.
Given your GPA, I would say the liberal arts schools are your best bet to finance/investment banking (e.g. Williams, Amherst, Middlebury).
@fivesages are LACs more forgiving of bad gpas?
Low GPA will hurt look at us news top 20 for banking, as well as USC, SMU, MIAMI, Michigan Ross, UT Mccombs, Tufts, Wake Forest all have a fair amount of banking recruiting
@college123apps Relatively LACs are open to overlooking a weakness in one of the key elements, as long as the other two are strong…grades, scores, activities.
I understand you want to go out of state but I would apply to one in -state school in case all else goes wrong (UVA or W&M mb + a safety). Brandeis, BC, NYU, Villanova come to mind. Maybe Bucknell & Lehigh as well.
