Reason #390282 public schools are "fun"...

Yeah, you'd have to define what "suck" means though. I wonder how you'd go about collecting that data. Hah. Carry out an SRS.

No--we all carry switchblades and are addicted to crack.

Yeah, for the most part, I hate private school kids. They are snobby, spoiled brats who think they are above everyone else.

You do realize that these statements are merely stereotypical, right? I mean, I do understand where you’re getting such ideas. As a student who has been through both private and public schools, I’d have to say that most don’t follow either of these generalizations.

I don't mean to anger anyone, but many kids in my public school are very trashy and rude. However, I know that not all public schools are like that. This is just my opinion.

nymets: if u do that on CC, i DONT even want to think about wut u do with ur life.

I dont consider public schools to be the best place for an education, but in my opinion there alot better than those sterile, strict, narrow minded private schools which rule there students to create a little society of brain washed minds. if you want to get a decent education and the best street education go to public school, if you want to be controlled in every aspect of your life go to a private school.

and before anyone claims that i dont know what i'm saying, I went to private school for 5years and i hated the way the rich students would just bribe the teachers to get an A, While at a public school the education is a little lower but atleast it doesn't cost you money or has a hierarchy and social status, dictating your grades.

"I'm glad I go to Catholic School. There isnt really any violence or any gangs. But you'll have a fight occasionally. For the most part, I hate public school kids. They are so trashy and rude."

Ahem... **** that.

Why pay for a private education when in many cases it's possible to get a "free" education at a public school? Granted, your tax money is paying for the public school, but you're not spending an additional amount of money for private school. The public school I attend is academically superior to private schools in our area.

nymets: stop being such a panzee with ur sterotypical comments. u go to report this post too??

Paying some serious gas money to get there too.

School bus?

this makes absolutely no sense:

and then

we have enough to dish out the money

that sounds like an oxymoron to me.

also

school bus

[/quote]

i thought PRIVATE school kids were too good for buses?

So it's an overcrowded school bus. We don't have that problem. Then again I don't take the bus anymore...I drive. Yup. That's the life.

when did shopping come into the story???

That last sentence doesn't make sense (grammatically). You'd have more money if you went to public school. But of course if they suck then private school would be better...I guess. College is going to be a serious financial strain. At least you can get some aid in that case.

so now ur regreting going to a private school because of the finanicial issue?

but if YOU had to choose between private and public school, where would u go? (knowing that your parents are not rich)

even if u know that ur parents will have to make sacrifices (vacations, car, paying for college)?

So which private school do you go to (I live in NJ too). You don't have to answer if you don't want to.

^please answer my question.
