So I got my first detention in high school today for going to the bathroom and not coming back to class for like 40 minutes.

the reason being is (don't laugh) I had a huge diarrhea and I just could not return to school and my teacher marked me as truant and gave me a detention.

Do I have to include this in my college application, and if I do, will I be given a chance to explain my dire predicament in that particular situation?

Lol, people make mistakes. People get detentions. I got a detention for forgetting to get my planner signed after the weekend (school rule). I doubt it will stop me from getting into college. Relax! :)

You should run over to the VP’s office, dump yourself and your knees and apologize over and over. Hurry don’t flush your academic career down the drain.

This kid is panicking that his bowel movements will impede his chances at getting into college. This is such typical CC material it’s unbelievable.

This is College Confidential after all… you ask questions that you probably wouldn’t ask on facebook or some other social media websites. Where would I inquire about diarrheal-related detention predicament other than college confidential? This is the facebook for desperate, college-hungry students. 12xp12, if you have problem with my bowel movement, I will personally poop all over your face.
